Partnership Dispute Resolution Learn How Attorney Johanson Can Put His Extensive Experience to Work for You!

Partnership Dispute Resolution

Two people trying to conduct business together will always have its difficulties. When these disputes get out of control, it is best to seek a legal advocate for the best interest of you and your business. If you are involved in a dispute involving one or more partners, my law firm may be able to mediate on your behalf. Disputes involving a business could destroy your livelihood and cause disturbance within the corporation. This issue does not have to become a disturbance when attempting to conduct business and provide for yourself or your family. This situation should be handled quickly and delicately.

Types of Partnership Disputes

Within the context of a business, there are two different kinds of partnerships that can be established and broken. A general partnership is formed by 2 - 20 individuals joining in a business bond. Each member has distinct responsibilities that they must carry out along with taking care of a portion of the monetary assets, debts, property, and work. They all get a fair portion of monetary contribution as well. A limited partnership contains one or more general partners, and one or more limited partners. The limited partners are there to provide capital while the general partners make the big decisions and have more responsibilities.

In either circumstance, a dispute can break out when a party of the coalition does not hold up his or her end of the deal. This is a break in the contract and does not benefit the other party. The offended party will usually desire to seek legal help so they can receive what they deserve and adequate compensation for the wrongs done to them. Disputes often lead to losses in monetary gain by disturbing business transactions and can in themselves be costly expenditures. When involved in a partnership, it is beneficial to seek the help of a civil litigation lawyer who desires to quickly resolve the case while working hard to bring about a profitable result.

How to Resolve Your Partnership Dispute

Your case could require a court settlement, however this may be avoided if you seek immediate legal help before the situation gets out of hand. It is possible for the situation to be resolved through mediation so that your claim does not have to be brought before a judge and be settled by an individual that is not personally involved. Otherwise, I am confident in my ability to bring your case before court so that the situation can be settled in a rightful manner.

Commercial litigation can be a highly distressing matter. It distracts members of a business from what they should be focusing on: sales, expansion, and customer service. It is important to have a strong legal representative who is there to protect you and advocate for your rights. At Johanson Law Group, Inc., I am knowledgeable in how to settle a case so that your rights are regarded with the highest attention.

If trial is the best option for a settlement to your partnership dispute, I will represent you with the attention your case deserves.
