Fees

I realize that most people don’t anticipate the need for an attorney and that it is an unplanned expense.  Using the guidelines below, my office will work with you to ensure you get the right legal advice at an affordable price.  There are several legal scenarios outlined below:

Criminal Defense:  Any time there is a need for criminal defense, I charge a flat fee based on several factors including the complexity of the case, anticipated number of court appearances, location of the court and the seriousness of the offense.

Civil Litigation: If the case warrants civil litigation, I charge hourly in addition to a trust account retainer.

Personal Injury: In cases where personal injury is involved, I work on a 1/3 contingency basis. This simply means that whatever settlement is reached, my office retains 1/3 of the total. No recovery, no fee.

Consultations lasting longer than 1/2 hour are charged on an hourly basis.
This includes review of legal documents, drafting of documents and letters.

I accept payment by cash, check, money order and even credit card. I currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. I offer payment plans on a case by case basis.

In any case the initial consultation with me is free so there is no risk on your part in learning what should be done to best defend your freedom and your rights. I will find your best defense. If after speaking with me you decide not to hire me you will owe me nothing.
